Your Style, Your Day

You know which flowers you want, the bridesmaid dresses have been selected, the cake considered; now all you need is to finish your vision with the perfect wedding paper collection that will capture the essence of you.

I've designed several different styles to cater to almost any bride. I know how important this day is because it was just that important to me over 3 years ago. I still remember trying out various color schemes, checking out venues, drooling over wedding cakes in several bridal magazines, and envisioning exactly how I wanted my hair done among many other choices I had to make. Being a designer, my favorite part was designing my invitations. I couldn't find anything online that truly captured the look I was going for. My hope is to make this a lot easier for you than it was for me. Any of my collections can be customized by color, font or wording to give your wedding paper a personal touch and to make sure it sets the tone for the main event.

Let's face it, we all know you will be gorgeous, breath-taking, and the most perfect bride ever. And there are so many things that make you unique and original from everyone else. So make sure you pick a collection that reflects you and your style so that when people see it, they think "wow, that is totally her!".

Inspirations

I've started posting a small "blurb" on some of my wedding paper collections that describe the inspiration behind several of my wedding invitation designs. It's been fun to get the chance to share a little bit of my personal life through my products. I like that my clients can share that part of me. I also wanted to add that I don't always just look for inspiration through my own experiences but really appreciate it when my clients send inspiration my way.

Recently I developed a beach themed wedding invitation design that was inspired by a bride I met at a wedding show in Denver. She sent me a beautiful video of Hermosa Beach to give me inspiration. This is an example of what I like to encourage with my clients. If you can't find just the right design for you, or you have an awesome idea that you would like to share, please contact me and you may see a new line with your idea in the coming weeks.

When it all began

As a child I had a fascination with paper. In early elementary school I was always writing short stories and illustrating them with my 24 pack of crayolas. Whenever I received a new type of paper to work with, it thrilled me. I still remember receiving a small journal that had glossy paper. I loved the way it smelled and the shine it gave. Immediately I went to work on creating what I considered to be a novel. I don't recall ever finishing it or what it actually was about, what stands out to me was the excitement of working with a new type of paper.

As a fifth-grader, I decided to start my own stationery company. Using stamps, stickers, pens and cardstock I developed several book marks. A simple hole punch in the top and a ribbon that served as a tassel, completed the look I was after. I also developed stationery and greeting cards with the same stamp, sticker and pen combination. Thinking my work was very professional, I decided to start selling them to my classmates, church members and relatives. I think the going rate for a bookmark was 5 cents.

Now today I am finally fulfilling my childhood dream of owning my own stationery company. Only this time, I've left behind the stickers and stamps and have stuck to what I truly love; paper. To this day I love the smell of paper, especially when it's fresh off of the press. There is something truly rewarding about seeing your creative work in all its glory printed on a beautiful smooth white piece of cardstock.

Fall Wedding Invitations

My husband Stephen and I were married in the fall. It was a beautiful time of year to get married and happens to be one of my favorite seasons. The leaves turning on the Aspen in the Colorado mountains are breathtaking. A stroll through the dirt primitive road of Guanella Pass is one of Stephen and my favorite things to do during the fall. It paints a picture that no photo could do justice. And the cold crisp air that seems to linger even on beautiful sunny days is refreshing and exhilarating.

Because of my love for the fall, I really enjoy creating fall themed wedding invitation designs. While most of our collections already have fall themed color schemes, I have also developed designs that are exclusive to fall themed weddings. My newest creation is the Charlotte. I wanted to create something fun and casual; perfect for the autumn bride who wants to introduce some whimsy into her perfect day. Check out any of our many fall-themed designs:
